I Am Blessed

I am blessed!

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3, NIV). Saying I’m blessed isn’t enough. I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ. He doesn’t withhold any from me. He uses EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING when it comes to me. When the devil comes at me with all of my faults and failures, when I don’t think I’m good enough, when I don’t think I have what it takes to accomplish the task before me, I must remember that I am blessed beyond measure. Not only blessed with a few spiritual blessings from Christ but from EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING.

But what does that mean – EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING? Paul goes on to discuss the spiritual blessings through the opening chapters of Ephesians. It is these blessings that I look at and am encouraged. God holds nothing back from me. Everything has been granted to me as an inheritor of His kingdom. He blesses me with everything within His power – the power of the creator of the universe who spoke all things into existence, who defeated death, who brought me into a close, personal relationship with Him.

The all-powerful God cares and loves me no matter my faults and failures. He is there to pour EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING upon me for His glory and good will. That is one part of who I am – I am blessed by the God of all creation who blesses me with EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING in Christ. All praise to Him!
