Summer Writing Updates from AGF Authors!

Summer is here, and at AGF Publishing, the season is filled with exciting projects, new stories, and upcoming book releases! Here’s what Sean Slagle, Mark Stephen, and Tabitha Dawn are working on this summer.

Sean Slagle: Crafting Thrills and Suspense

Sean Slagle is deep into the development of The Breeding Ground trilogy, a supernatural horror series that blends suspense, faith, and survival in a world under attack by terrifying winged creatures. Book 1 is taking shape, with intense character arcs, eerie settings, and a spiritual battle that will leave readers on the edge of their seats.

Sean is also working on The Sixth Commandment series adaptation, transforming his novel into a gripping multi-episode streaming series. The summer months will be spent refining scripts, fleshing out character dynamics, and ensuring each episode builds tension while staying true to the original story.

Mark Stephen: Bringing Light to Young Readers

Mark Stephen is preparing the launch of the Illuminate Series, beginning with The Keeper’s Lantern in September. This faith-filled middle-grade adventure follows Noah, a boy who discovers a lantern that only lights up when he prays. Final edits are underway, along with marketing and cover design to ensure the book is ready for release.

Beyond The Keeper’s Lantern, Mark Stephen is also developing future books in the Illuminate Series, including The Never-Ending Feast and The Perfect Me. With each book, young readers will encounter thrilling stories that challenge them to grow in their faith and trust in God’s guidance.

Tabitha Dawn: Cozy Romance and Small-Town Love

Over in Clearmont, Tabitha Dawn is busy creating heartwarming romance stories that will whisk readers away to a charming small town where love is always in the air. This summer, final touches are being made on Love’s Great Adventure: Falling for You, which releases in October, and Bloom & Blossom: Emily’s Christmas Celebration, arriving in December.

Tabitha is also outlining new love stories for 2026, deciding which couples will find their happily-ever-afters next. With plans for more Clearmont-based short stories and novels, she’s crafting a world full of romance, community, and feel-good moments perfect for cozy summer reading.
