Preview of June's Monday Meditations - God's Idea of a Father Figure

According to the Oxford Dictionary, God is the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being. Before God was all of these things, he was first and foremost a father. And that is why God established the Biblical pattern for family government. In the word of God, the father is the provider, priest, prophet, and king. 

• As provider, he works.
• As priest, he guides.
• As prophet, he protects.
• As king, he governs.
